EXPO Ticket:
This ticket includes general admission into the expo, barber battle, and all main stage education and access to all vendors on main floor.
Student Expo:
This ticket is a main Expo access ticket which includes vendor floor, main stage education, and barber battle view. All student tickets must present identification and screenshot of your verification found on your states verification website. Student barbers in their first month will bring their entrance documentation from school. You WILL BE TURNED AWAY AT THE DOOR if these documents are not presented. NO REFUNDS for any tickets.
VIP Access:
This VIP ticket includes all the amenities of the standard Expo ticket, but includes ALL of the private education classes, as well as the networking social at a premier location TBA. Food, drinks and excellent opportunities to expand your network and meet the influencers of our industry are all on the menu with this one!
Student VIP:
This VIP ticket includes all the amenities of the standard Expo ticket, but includes ALL of the private education classes, as well as the networking social at a premier location TBA. Barber Battle (Fade):
This ticket enters competitor into the 15 minute fade competition. First place is bragging rights, cash prize (MINIMUM $200), Clippers from Babyliss, Trophy, and more TBA! (Limited 10 slots)
Barber Battle (Classic/Traditional):
This ticket enters competitor into the 40 minute classic/traditional haircut competition. First place is bragging rights, cash prize (MINIMUM $200), Clippers from Babyliss, Trophy, and more TBA! (Limited 10 slots)
Barber Battle (Design):
This ticket enters competitor into the 40 minute Hair Design competition. First place is bragging rights, cash prize (MINIMUM $200), Clippers from Babyliss, Trophy, and more TBA! (Limited 10 slots)
Barber Battle (Total Look):
This ticket enters competitor into the 60 minute Total Look Competition(hair, beard, designs, color, ANYTHING GOES!). First place is bragging rights, cash prize (MINIMUM $300), Clippers from Babyliss, TN Barber Expo Heavyweight Title Belt, and more TBA! (Limited 10 slots)
Barber Battle Rules:
- Clippers

- TNBX reserves the right to cancel or rescheduled the event.
- All contestants must bring a live model and barbering tools in order to participate in the competition. The competition fee includes a one-day exhibit hall entry for the competitor and model. Competitors and models will not be permitted onto the exhibition floor until one hour prior to the competition, at which point will be directed towards the competition meeting place. Model numbers will be given to all participating models once confirmed and check-in at the registration area.
- All models’ hair must be cut at the competition. The competitor is not allowed to cut, trim, shape, or preset the model’s hair before the competition begins. Semi-permanent color, permanent color, light color sprays, and chalks are allowed unless otherwise noted. Barber must show a transformation of the model’s hair. The judges will inspect the model’s hair during pre-judging or during check-in. Violation of this rule will result in the deduction of points and/or disqualification from the competition.
- All contestants must check in at the registration area at least one hour prior to the battle. If a contestant is late, they will forfeit their place in the competition and their paid entry fee or fees. Please look for “Check In” when you arrive to the battle.
- All contestants will have a specific time to complete their particular cut and style. Judging will be conducted on a visual basis only. Judges will use a point system on a scale of one (lowest possible score) to ten (highest possible score). If there is a tie in a category or prize placement, the judges will determine the final winner.
Fast fade:
- Time limit 15 minutes
- No enhancements
- Based on haircut only beard will not add or deduct points
- Winner determined by best fade 1st, and then time to complete
- Use any clippers you wish cordless are suggested
- Improper sanitation will result in points lost or disqualification
- Speed and finished product.
- The haircut model must have a #2 or equivalent on the top before the competition begins.
- The top must be taken down to a minimum of 1½.
- Longer hair and scissor techniques are welcome.
- *Time limit 40 minutes
- *Winner decided by best design (clarity, skill, definition, theme, creativity)
- *Enhancements are permitted for this competition

- *these haircuts will be inspired by the generations past. (Pompadour, slick back, flat top, Afro, high top box fades, “juice” fades, etc… 1900’s styles to 1990 the possibilities are endless.
- * Each competitor has 40 minutes to execute a Traditional Cut and style. Contestants will be judged and scored on the following: The cut must incorporate scissors and clippers, Judges will be looking for gentlemen cuts. Haircuts will be graded on cuts and finished look/style.
- The gloves are off for this one! Literally, anything goes (color, enhancements, and anything else that will allow creative expression to flow)
